Our Story

There were two passions for Kate growing up

Horses & Interior Design.  

If she wasn’t at the barn jumping fences on her first true love - a tall, dark & handsome Thoroughbred (The Hot Shot, aka "Reggie"), she was home sketching up the next layout of  her bedroom, rearranging furniture, or studying every detail in home décor magazines.  

Kate's dad was a home builder with his own construction company, so she grew up browsing the isles of Home Depot & shadowing him at his job sites.  She was always more excited to shop at the Dallas Market with his designers rather than hang at the mall with friends.  Intrigued by both her dad's ability to take a house plan from rendering to reality, and the joy in finding the perfect colors, fabrics and accessories in order to make a house a home, Kate pursued a degree in Architecture & Interior Design. 

However, life intervened with a fluke circumstance where her career found her on the accounting & financial side of the Automotive industry instead.  She's held top Executive positions, from Brand Controller to CFO over the course of 20+ years.  It afforded an abundance of great business experience that's proven invaluable in establishing, managing & growing the {dream} career she had planned all along! 

Over the years, she's still stayed true to her design roots...whether she's helping family & friend's with the aesthetics of their homes, managing the books for & assisting a top Interior Designer/Parade of Homes Award recipient, or simply designing her family's personal homes (which have consitently resulted in quick sales - the last one sold over ask contingent on all the furnishings & decor to remain "as is" in the home at close!). 

Kate takes the drive & passion for transfrorming spaces into gorgeous, livable areas bespoke to her client's needs & desires.
